Shale Oil & Gas cifras relevantes - significant figures

Petróleo y Gas de esquisto y unas pocas cifras muy relevantes – Shale Oil and Shale Gas and a few rather significant figures

To yesterday’s comment on this subject we would like to add a couple of short and simple tables (an extract from the top of the tables we did not include before). They deal with the key countries with technically recoverable shale oil and shale gas resources. However, as the US Energy Information Administration-EIA’s report points out: “these shale oil and shale gas resource estimates are highly uncertain and will remain so until they are extensively tested with production wells. This report's methodology for estimating the shale resources outside the United States is based on the geology and resource recovery rates of similar shale formations in the United States (referred to as analogs) that have produced shale oil and shale gas from thousands of producing wells.”

[1] EIA estimates used for ranking order. ARI estimates in brackets. ARI: Advanced Resources International Inc, commissioned by EIA to conduct the new world shale resources assessment.
[2] As in (1). Regarding shale GAS it is worth noticing how much EIA and ARI estimates vary when referred to the US!
